Boom Bap Collective drops live hip hop on Cairns

January 20th, 2011

We’ve mentioned the Boom Bap Collective projects a few times on our online radio show REPRESENT real hip hop, but now I’m about to put a face on it. The Boom Bap Collective is Ricky Shamroxx and MC Diggis on the mics, Papa Stanley on the bass, The Chopsmith on the drums and Dex Mo on the turntables.

Originally a brainchild of myself (Dex Mo) the project has absorbed the creative juices of all of it’s members and has shaped it to the ultimate live Hip Hop experience. It’s raw, it’s boom bap and it’s live, hence dope.

If you want to see this live, come to The Heritage Nightclub in Cairns this Saturday (22nd January), as we’ll rock REPRESENT LIVE 2, the second edition of the ultimate real shit gig. Check it.
